The program is built on the principle of a culinary detective. Each episode focuses on one dish. The presenter very scrupulously collects all the ingredients – visits the spice shops, chooses dishes, meats, vegetables etc. In the end, when all the components are found, Anton, together with the locals, prepares the dish.
The program talks about the traditions and cultures of nations. It sheds light on how a table is set, how to eat, what to prepare for the holidays and during fasting, why certain products in certain countries are not eaten.
